Maple Leaf Guest House is one of the best budget options in Hong Kong, it’s small, but clean and cheap, making it good value for money. This place is ideal for backpackers and other travelers, wanting to see the best parts of Hong Kong on a budget.
The Guest House itself lies within the Chung King Mansions building, sharing the floors with a number of other budget oriented accommodation options. Maple Leaf could be the pick of the Chung King Mansions bunch. The location on Nathan Road is great, sandwiched between the Holiday Inn Golden Mile and the Imperial Hotel Hong Kong. We prefer staying in the Chung King Mansions compared to the similar Mirador Mansions, the reasons being that the location is a little better, and there seems to be a more friendlier vibe about the whole building.
The rooms at Maple Leaf Guest House are small, but that is to be expected of accommodation of this standard in this area. The staff are flexible to you needs, generally polite and friendly, they can help you out with tips and advice about the local area.Everything you need is close by staying here, in addition to in-house features and amenities, such as internet access and a translation service, there’s a lot of restaurants and shops within close proximity to this Guest House. Keep in mind that this is a top location, and it’s easy for the backpacker crowd to experience what Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, and the rest of Hong Kong has to offer.
The Maple Leaf Guest House doesn’t have it’s own official website, but you can find out more, make a booking, check for any special offers on room rates, and read customer reviews on the LateRooms webpage.
