In the thick of all the hustle and bustle of Tsim Sha Tsui stands the popular, but now quite dated three-star Ramada Hotel Kowloon. Laid out across 18 floors, the 205 rooms all come equipped with a minibar, air condiioning, limited hours room service, and coffee making facilities. Both non-smoking and smoking rooms are available on request.
The Ramada is situated along Chatham Road, which runs south straight onto Salisbury Road. Accessing Victoria Harbour is easy, it’s almost straight down the road, all the other sightseeing, shopping and leisure activities are also all within east reach of the Ramada Hotel Kowloon. The hotel is reasonably priced, we think that it’s just the right cost for the standard of Tsim Sha Tsui hotels. The three star hotels in this area of Tsim Sha Tsui are renowned for being good quality, and the Ramada is no different.
The entire hotel was modern and elegantly styled in the first place, but on the downside the decor is getting a bit dated these days. The rooms, lobby, and lounge areas are not perfect, but we found them adequate for a three star hotel, and the staff made us feel comfortable during our stay. There is also a pretty good restaurant called Cafe Society, which is a popular dining option for guests staying at the hotel.
