As another of the outstanding five star luxury hotels in Hong Kong that overlook Victoria Harbor, the Sheraton Hotel and Towers in Hong Kong has a lot to contend against. In this feature we dig deep to find out if it can hold it’s own against the grandstand competition down on the waterfront.
First we will talk about the all-important location, we think that the only three hotels in close proximity can beat it, simply because it’s across Nathan Road, on the other side to the harbor. These three hotels are the Renaissance, the InterContinental Hong Kong, and around the corner there is the Marco Polo Prince Hotel, the prime spot belonging to the InterContinental. We measured the distance between the InterContinental and the Sheraton, it’s roughly around 125 Meters, not far at all, in fact, the Sheraton has the advantage that it has the harbor views, and is also in the heart of the Tsim Sha Tsui action. We think the Sheraton stands up to the best of them when it comes to location.
Now for the guest rooms and decor, this wasn’t a hard conclusion to come to as a simple glance at the rooms and views from the Sheraton, makes you know that this hotel can hold it’s own against any five star hotel in Hong Kong – and even the rest of the world. We have come to the conclusion that the quality of the Sheraton Tsim Sha Tsui speaks for itself, there is many more things we could compare and list here, such as the extensive selection of services and amenities, the first class dining facilities, the swimming pool on the roof of the hotel, or the health and fitness facilities. Everything we have seen of this hotel has been truly first class, it is an example of the Sheraton brand, and also an example to any more five star hotels opening in Hong Kong in the future. Top class.
